Not too long ago, our parents used to make cradles or baby clothes with whatever materials they could get their hands on, and then let every one of their children tests the quality and strength in turns. What is eco-diy.com?
eco-diy.com is a web-based portal aiming to provide a platform for exchanging experience, knowledge and resources of those local artists and designers who choose to use environmental friendly materials and approaches to design or create their home products either for sale or just for fun. This web-base community will also be able to use this online portal to showcase, market, promote and educate the public about the benefits of creating or using homemade eco-friendly home products and housewares as means of advocating the concept of “free living”. “Free living” is way of living which incurs low cost and generate low impact to the environment.

Our Mission
This online community will be consolidated through the aid of a web-based forum hosted by eco-diy.com. We will use this forum to distribute, promote and educate the public of the concept of low cost & low impact living which we call “Living Free” in HK and vicinal areas such as mainland China and Taiwan.
We will also periodically post related information, news, stories and knowledge of this living philosophy to the website for visitors to browse and search for.
